Cashback Client: Trainline

Challenge:

Trainline had a huge variety of network, server and storage equipment that was surplus to requirements following internal upgrades. They wanted to get the best value back on the old equipment and preferred to have a single point of contact. There was also a requirement to receive some new equipment as part of a trade-in deal.

Solution:

Flux IT Hardware initially approached as they had a quantity of Cisco equipment that they wanted to release the equity on and in the first instance we collected a number of switches, routers and firewalls.

Result:

Since then we have had several collections from them including helping to remove a number of servers from a data centre in Docklands London. Our aim is to provide a single point of contact for all their surplus and redundant equipment, making the whole process as simple and quick as possible.
